Gary Wolstenholme MBE adds a CX2 to His bag at British Senior Open

RSS

Britains greatest ever amateur golfer Gary Wolstenholme MBE spent some time this week on the practice greens at Royal Porthcawl with Cure fitter Mark Bentley. He had a good look at a variety of putters from the Cure range.

Gary was so impressed that he decided to put a CX2 into his bag. Gary is not your average golfer. Gary, a true gentleman of the game, enjoyed an illustrious career as an amateur and did not turn professional until the age of 47. At 49 he shot a 63 on his way to beating a big field of golfers half his age.

On turning 50 and joining the Senior Tour he finished 3rd in his first event at Woburn before winning his 2nd event at the Casa Serena Open.
