Jerry Kelly takes Boeing Classic Title using a CX1
Jerry Kelly used a Cure CX1 putter to capture his first win on the PGA Tour Champions at the Boeing Classic.
Jerry went wire-to-wire and set a tournament record at the Boeing Classic, shooting rounds of 65, 66, and a bogey-free 66 to finish -19 and clinch his first win on the Champions Tour circuit.
Since Jerry put a Cure CX1 in his bag, he has seen his scoring average improve to 65.6 compared to his YTD average of 70.16. His putting stats have greatly improved as well, from a YTD avg. of 1.864 putts per GIR down to 1.594 putts per GIR with his Cure CX1 in play.
The victory earned him $315,000.00 and he climbed to the 11th spot on the Charles Schwab Cup Ranking.
